SAP to Award STEM Grants Under White House ‘Computer Science for All’ Initiative


slide-rule-math-education-STEM-count-schoolTYSONS CORNER, VA, April 15, 2016 — SAP (NYSE: SAP) plans to award $2.4 million in grants to nonprofit organizations to promote computer science and other specializations in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math as part of the government’s Computer Science for All initiative, GovCon Executive reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday it hopes to reach approximately 700, 000 K-12 students and help its university and industry partners advance STEM through curriculum mapping, competitions, workshops and other programs.
