TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 25, 2016 — Riverbed Technology has received a security certification from the Defense Information Systems Agency for the company’s SteelHead wide-area network optimization technology, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
Riverbed said Wednesday DISA certified SteelHead as compliant with the Secure Technical Implementation Guide standards, which would facilitate its deployment at the Defense Department and federal civilian agencies.

He added that the company’s application performance platforms work to help federal users meet security requirements.
