Northrop, General Atomics to Share ND Runway With AF Under Joint Use Agreement


droneTYSONS CORNER, VA, April 4, 2016 — Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) and General Atomics will share a runway with the U.S. Air Force at the Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota to test new unmanned aerial vehicles, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

Sen. John Hoeven’s office (R-N.D.) reported Wednesday the Air Force inked a joint use agreement with Grand Sky Business and Technology Park to enable tenants such as Northrop and General Atomics to operate their UAVs with the service branch’s Global Hawk fleet.
