Booz Allen EVP Susan Penfield is 2016 Wash100 Inductee for Staff Collaboration Leadership

Executive Mosaic, Tysons Corner, VA April 19, 2016 — Susan Penfield, an executive vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE:BAH), has been elected into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 list of the most influential leaders in GovCon for her vision in encouraging teamwork between employees.

Penfield heads Booz Allen’s strategic innovation group in efforts to develop data science, digital and predictive intelligence technologies as well as the company’s crowd-sourcing, development operations and open source architecture portfolio.

She wrote in a guest post for ExecutiveBiz published August 2015 Booz Allen works toward a culture of innovation by spurring partnership efforts among employees worldwide.

“Collaborative and reciprocal partnerships will supplement organizational processes and a strong, well-maintained network of external inputs will enable clients to fail, adapt, and learn faster, ” she wrote.

Booz Allen also launched an Internet of Things “build and field” initiative that, according to Penfield, seeks to enhance workforce productivity at enterprises that use IoT technologies, ExecutiveBiz reported May 2015.

Penfield previously supported the company’s health business that works to help government agencies adopt and manage health information technology tools.
