BAE Systems to Deliver Assault Amphibious Vehicles to Japan


Bae systems logo_ExecutiveBizTYSONS CORNER, VA, April 11, 2016 — The U.S. subsidiary of BAE Systems will supply 30 Assault Amphibious Vehicles to Japan as part of the country’s efforts to build up amphibious capability among its ground self-defense forces, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday BAE Systems Inc. will also provide tools, test equipment and training support on the AAV7A1 Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability/Rebuild to Standard vehicle.
