ACI to Support Navy ManTech Electronics Center of Excellence Under $99M Contract


electronicsACI Technologies will provide support for the U.S. Navy‘s Manufacturing Technology program through the ManTech Navy Electronics Manufacturing Center of Excellence under a $99 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

The Defense Department said Tuesday the company will perform work in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, through June 21, 2021.

NEMC works to develop and deploy manufacturing tech in the U.S. electronics industrial base in efforts to optimize cost and time spent to transition electronics from industry into Navy and DoD system applications, DoD added.

The Office of Naval Research‘s ManTech program was formed to support the development and transition of manufacturing equipment and systems through centers of excellence that are dedicated to specific areas of technology.

ACI serves as operator of NEMC or the Electronics Manufacturing Productivity Facility and works to provide scientific research that focuses on electronics manufacturing for DoD and industry.
