Lynn Dugle, a nearly 12-year veteran of Raytheon (NYSE: RTN), will join Chantilly, Virginia-based government services contractor Engility Holdings (NYSE: EGL) on March 21 as chief executive to succeed Tony Smeraglinolo, who has stepped down from the post after more than three years at the company.

Dugle previously led Raytheon’s intelligence, information and services segment and will bring 30 years of defense, intelligence and telecommunications experience to her new role, Engility said Tuesday.

“I am excited by the opportunities that lie ahead for Engility, particularly in growth markets such as space and intelligence, ” said Dugle.

John Hynes, executive vice president and chief operating officer, will serve as president at Engility and retain his duties as COO.

He previously led TASC as president and CEO before its purchase by Engility through a $1.3 billion all-stock deal that closed in February 2015.

Prior to TASC, he managed the intelligence services units at ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) and Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) as well as served in the U.S. Navy as an aviator.

Smeraglinolo, a Wash100 recipient, has led Engility since July 2012 upon the company’s spun off from L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) into a standalone government services contractor.
