Lockheed Martin Lands $197.6M Navy Aegis Combat System Engineering Contract

lockheed martinLockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received a $197.6 million contract modification to design and test computer program baselines for the U.S. Navy’s Aegis combat system.

The company will also provide integration and delivery services for related technology insertion hardware design for the next build, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

Lockheed Martin will perform work in Moorestown, New Jersey, and Manassas, Virginia, through October 2019.
