Fluor-Led Consortia to Design, Build, Operate Future Maryland Light Rail System


FluorTYSONS CORNER, VA, March 4, 2016 — Fluor (NYSE: FLR) will work with several partners to finance, design, build, operate and maintain the future Purple Line light rail system in Maryland as part of a $2 billion project, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday its Purple Line Transit Partners,  Purple Line Transit Constructors and Purple Line Transit Operators teams will perform work under the contract awarded by the Maryland Department of Transportation and Maryland Transit Administration.
