US Approves Saudi Arabia’s Proposed $155M Buy of Raytheon Weapons Upgrade


phalanxTYSONS CORNER, VA, February 16, 2016 — Saudi Arabia’s proposed $154.9 million purchase of Raytheon‘s (NYSE: RTN) upgraded MK 15 Phalanx Close-In Weapons Systems has received approval from the U.S. government, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Thursday the potential foreign military sale includes Block 1B Baseline 2 CIWS kits for Block 0 systems on Saudi naval vessels.
