Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has received a potential three-year, $115 million task order to help integrateÂ applications for theÂ Department of Veterans AffairsÂ to manageÂ the agency’sÂ interactions withÂ customers.
The order covers application integration, software development, operations, maintenance andÂ project management support services for theÂ Veterans Relationship ManagementÂ system, Â Booz AllenÂ said Wednesday.
The companyÂ indicated it will supportÂ VA’sÂ existing and new apps that are based on Microsoft‘s Dynamics customer relationship management suite.
Richard Crowe, a senior vice president at Booz Allen, said the company has supported the VRM program over the past three years.
The order follows the department’s award of a $72 million VRM Cloud Hosting contract to Booz Allen.
“Through that contract, we demonstrated how building integration between the operations and maintenance and cloud hosting functions can result in tremendous efficiencies, such as with addressing application backlogs, ” Crowe added.
