Northrop Grumman Flies Air Force’s Intell Sensor on Global Hawk


RQ-4-Global-HawkTYSONS CORNER, VA, February 29, 2016 — Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has conducted a flight test of an RQ-4 Global Hawk equipped with the U.S. Air Force‘s SYERS-2 intelligence-gathering sensor, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday it used a Universal Payload Adapter to mount the sensor onto the high-altitude drone.
