Hitachi Data Systems Adds New Execs to Federal Unit; Mike Tanner Comments


HitachiTYSONS CORNER, VA,  February 8, 2016 — The U.S. federal subsidiary of Hitachi Data Systems has made two new hires to help augment service support within its federal government business unit, GovCon Executive reported Friday.

Linda Jensen — formerly customer experience and support department lead at EMC‘s federal sector — has been appointed as HDS federal director of service and support, while Jason Hardy — previously a storage architect at Compellent Technologies — has been named a cloud technologist for HDS’ federal clients.

“Linda brings extensive federal experience and knowledge, as well as a proactive instinct to drive consistent execution of all maintenance support services and process improvement, “ Mike Tanner, president and CEO of Hitachi Data Systems Federal, said in an email Wednesday.
