General Atomics to Provide Radiation Monitoring Tech at US Nuclear Plants

General AtomicsTYSONS CORNER, VA, February 25, 2016 — General Atomics will provide radiation monitoring systems to help U.S. nuclear power plants that use boiling water reactors with Mark I and II containments comply with Nuclear Regulatory Commission safety mandates, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday the NRC requirements are based on recommendations resulting from the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi incident in Japan.
