Unisys-Built Face Recognition Tech Deploys at JFK Airport


Unisys logoTYSONS CORNER, VA, January 26, 2016 — Unisys (NYSE: UIS) has worked with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency to deploy facial scanner technology at John F. Kennedy International Airport, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The company said Monday the scanner works to prevent U.S. entry of travelers with fake passports by comparing the captured photos of travelers’ faces with the image on their electronic passports.
