L-3 to Repair Navy Virginia-/Ohio-Class Submarines Under $45M Contract

TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 19, 2016 — L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) has received a three-year, $44.7 million contract for the upgrade, repair and overhaul of the photonics masts of U.S. Navy Virginia-class and Ohio-class submarines, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The Defense Department said Thursday the company will perform engineering, technical and other contract work in Massachusetts through January 2019.
