Inmarsat Opens Office in Singapore to Meet APAC Mobile Broadband Demand


inmarsat logoTYSONS CORNER, VA, January 22, 2016 — Inmarsat has inaugurated a new facility in Toa Payoh, Singapore, in an effort to adapt to the increased demand for mobile satellite communication services in the Asia-Pacific region, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday the office includes a solutions laboratory, demonstration and training rooms, knowledge and support centers and a production facility.

“With the start of global commercial services for our latest satellite fleet Global Xpress at the end of last year, we expect to see demand increase still further, ” said Inmarsat CEO Rupert Pearce.
