Huntington Ingalls Unit Awards Grants for Alabama, Mississippi STEM Projects


Huntington Ingalls HIITYSONS CORNER, VA, January 27, 2016 — The shipbuilding division of Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) has awarded $100, 000 in grants to schools in Alabama and Mississippi to fund 25 projects in science, technology, math and engineering, GovCon Executive reported Tuesday.

The company said Monday its STEM program is in its eighth year and has awarded a total of $709, 000.
