Orbital ATK to Produce, Test Sidewinder Missile Rocket Motor for US Allies

Orbital ATKTYSONS CORNER, VA, December 9, 2015 — Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA) will provide AIM-9P rocket motors for the Sidewinder missile system and conduct an acceptance test on the motors under a contract from the U.S. Air Force, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said Monday the contract is part of a foreign military sales agreement with U.S. allies and adds to a separate direct commercial sales contract with an allied country.
