ManTech to Provide Cyber R&D Support Under $5B DTIC Contract; Bill Varner Comments

ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) will provide cyber research and development support to the Defense Technical Information Center under the potential $5 billion Cyber Security and Information Systems Technical Area Tasks multiple-award contract.

The company said Friday the contract covers software analysis, information assurance, modeling and simulation, knowledge management and other support services for technical projects.

Bill Varner, president of ManTech’s mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group, added that the company will work to deliver cyber research, development, test and evaluation services that help bolster DTIC’s mission.
