Lockheed, Navy Test Airworthiness of Anti-Ship Missile on Super Hornet Aircraft


lockheed martinTYSONS CORNER, VA, December 15, 2015 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has worked with the U.S. Navy to conduct flight tests on a prototype Long Range Anti-Ship Missile integrated with a F/A-18E/F Super Hornet aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The company said Monday the tests checked the system’s airworthiness and the aircraft’s structural loads, handling and other data as it carries a LRASM mass-simulator vehicle.
