TYSONS CORNER, VA, December 28, 2015 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has met its F-35 delivery goal for 2015, which consists of 45 fighter jets manufactured under the $391 billion fighter jet project, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
Reuters reported Tuesday the company is gearing for an increased production and is set to receive related performance fees in the coming years.
“Meeting aircraft production goals is a critical stepping stone in demonstrating the program is ready for the expected significant production ramp up, ” U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Chris Bogdan, F-35 program manager, told Reuters.
