Leidos-Integrated Runway Mgmt System to Detect Hazards at Sea-Tac Airport


RunWizeTYSONS CORNER, VA, December 7, 2015 — The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has deployed an automated runway management system developed by Xsight Systems and integrated by Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) subsidiary Varec, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

Leidos said Thursday the RunWize system includes FODetect and BirdWize to detect foreign objects, debris and bird hazards around the airport’s center runway.
