General Atomics’ Grey Eagle UAS to Service Army Next Year


droneTYSONS CORNER, VA, December 30, 2015 — The General Atomics-built Grey Eagle drone will provide service to the U.S. Army‘s surveillance and reconnaissance operations starting next year, ExecutiveGov reported Tuesday.

The Army said Dec. 21 the Grey Eagle will replace the Hunter unmanned aircraft system, which will transition to support overseas operations of government-owned/contractor-operated units.
