The RFP will outline objectives and requirements for the development of a wireless communications system for emergency responders across the U.S., the agency noted.
FirstNet’s board consists of the Homeland Security Secretary, U.S. Attorney General and the Office of Management and Budget Director as well as 12 government, public safety and wireless industry professionals.
