DoD Approves Dell Firewalls for Deployment on Defense Computer Networks


Dell logo_GovConWireTYSONS CORNER, VA, December 18, 2015 — The Defense Department has awarded certification to Dell for the deployment of its SonicWall firewalls on DoD-operated networks after the company passed Security Technical Implementation Guide tests, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Dell said Wednesday the certification puts SonicWall as part of DoD’s Unified Capabilities Approved Products List.
