The federal practice is headquartered in Rosslyn, Virginia and employs close to 7, 300 professionals.

“(Helfrich’s) 17-year track record of helping agencies transform into more efficient, effective organizations gives him unique insight into the federal marketplace, ” said Jim Moffatt, leader of Deloitte’s global consulting business.

Helfrich was previously the lead for human capital, strategy and operations, and advisory for the federal practice.

The Chicago Tribune reports Moffatt will transition into the role of global consulting business lead for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.
