Boeing to Test KC-46 EW Threat Recognition Using Textron’s Radar Signal Simulator

KC46ATYSONS CORNER, VA, December 1, 2015 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) will use Textron‘s (NYSE: TXT) Model 527 radar signal simulator for preflight tests on the KC-46 tanker aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

Textron said Monday Model 527 will work to check the aircraft’s electronic warfare radar warning receiver systems as part of the preflight tests on KC-46’s operational readiness.
