TWD Receives $99M USCIS Record Maintenance Task Order; Larry Besterman Comments


TWDLogo1TWD & Associates has received a $98.8 million task order from the Department of Homeland Security to maintain the records system portfolio of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

The company will work with partners Calibre Systems and General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) to maintain code and develop applications for USCIS, TWD said Tuesday.

The ordering period runs for 54 months.

Larry Besterman, president and CEO of TWD, said the project aims to help USCIS fulfill its mission and implement proper documentation through agile development processes.

“TWD’s support of USCIS [joint engineering teams-sustainment] will enable the agency to make better use of its existing platforms while setting a path forward for future infrastructure upgrades and requirements, ” added Besterman.
