Mitre Employees Receive Women of Color STEM Awards; Julie Gravallese Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 5,  2015 — Ten female Mitre employees have received recognition from Women of Color magazine for their contributions in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, GovCon Executive reported Wednesday.

Mitre said Tuesday the magazine handed out the awards during the 2015 Women of Color STEM Conference held in October.

“They have not only achieved technical and workplace excellence that has a high impact on the work we do with our government sponsors but also are dedicated to developing the next generation of STEM professionals, ” said Julie Gravallese, chief human resource officer of Mitre.
