TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 19,  2015 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Temple University awarded a team from Iowa State University $25, 000 in prize money as the winner of their co-sponsored National Cyber Analyst Challenge, GovCon Executive reported Nov. 11.
Lockheed said Nov. 10Â the competition aims to attract college students to cybersecurity careers and develop the strategic skills of the future cyber workforce.
“The lessons learned from the challenge will enable us to better support the academic community’s cyber curriculums, ” added Chris Kearns, vice president of enterprise IT solutions at Lockheed.
