USAID Picks Engility for Disaster Response Support in Latin America, Caribbean

TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 23,  2015 — Engility (NYSE: EGL) will provide disaster assistance to U.S. allied countries under a potential $35 million contract from the U.S. Agency for International Development.

The work entails technical and administrative support for the agency’s Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance emergency relief programs in Latin America and the Caribbean, Engility said Wednesday.

“This award validates OFDA’s trust and confidence in Engility to support ongoing efforts to refine and enhance USAID’s emergency response capabilities in the LAC region, ” said Tony Smeraglinolo, president and CEO of Engility.
