ULA Marks 100th Launch with MEXSAT-2

ULARocketTYSONS CORNER, VA, October 5,  2015 — United Launch Alliance, a Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) joint venture, has launched its 100th rocket into space, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

NASASpaceflight said the company, established in 2006, marked the milestone with Mexico’s Morelos-3 satellite,  also known as MEXSAT-2,  which was carried off into orbit aboard an Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral at 6:28 a.m.,  EDT, on Oct. 1.
