Tom Romeo: Maximus Extends 15-Year ‘Ticket to Work’ Program Support

A subsidiary of Maximus (NYSE: MMS) will extend its support for the U.S. Social Security Administration‘s Ticket to Work Program for up to five years under a potential $69.4 million contract.

Maximus said Tuesday its federal services arm will provide oversight and process support for program operations such as marketing and outreach, employment network payments and beneficiary ticket assignments.

“Maximus has supported the Ticket to Work Program for 15 years and we are pleased to continue to provide SSA with the necessary support to sustain program operations and help meet the needs of beneficiaries and employers, ” said Tom Romeo, president of Maximus Federal Services.

The Ticket to Work Program works to provide employment, vocational rehabilitation and other services to individuals with disabilities.
