Stephanie Hill: Denmark to Use Lockheed-Delivered MH-60R for North Atlantic, Arctic Ops

TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 26,  2015 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has delivered the first of Denmark’s nine MH-60 Romeo helicopter orders to the U.S. Navy, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

Lockheed said Thursday the Danish air force will use the Sikorsky-built MH-60R for surveillance, search-and-rescue and anti-surface warfare missions.

“The [helicopter] will operate in the harsh northern Atlantic and Arctic regions where Danish defense has unique operational experience, ” Stephanie Hill, vice president and general manager of ship and aviation systems at Lockheed, said in a separate report.
