Northrop Breaks Ground on UAS R&D Facility at Grand Sky


northrop Grumman_BLUETYSONS CORNER, VA, October 19, 2015 — Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) will operate a new research and development facility for drone technologies at Grand Sky, North Dakota, to serve as the main tenant of the 217-acre unmanned flight application development park, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

Construction has begun on the $10 million building, which will also house the company’s UAS mission analysis, aircrew training and aircraft maintenance operations teams, Northrop said Thursday.
