Nick Urick Joins Palo Alto Networks as Federal Sales VP

Nick Urick, formerly vice president of federal sales at FireEye (Nasdaq: FEYE), has been appointed to the same position at Santa Clara, Calif.-based firewall provider Palo Alto Networks (NYSE: PANW).

Palo Alto Networks said Thursday that Urick will oversee the security company’s going to market strategy in the federal civilian, intelligence sectors.

“He has a wealth of experience selling to the federal government and building high-performing teams, ” said Mark Anderson, executive vice president for worldwide field operations at Palo Alto Networks.

Urick holds 25 years of sales experience and led federal sales at F5 Networks prior to FireEye.
