ICF Awarded $100M CDC Health Comms Contract; Kris Tremaine Comments


ICF logo_EbizICF International (Nasdaq: ICFI) has received a potential 10-year, $100 million contract to develop health communication services for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The company will perform planning, research, media outreach, Web design, social media services and program assessment for various communication requirements of CDC’s centers, offices and programs, ICF said Monday.

The contract contains a five-year base period and five 12-month options.

“ICF has a long history of supporting CDC communication programs designed to break barriers, change attitudes and engage hard-to-reach, often vulnerable audiences, ” said Kris Tremaine, senior vice president for ICF International.

“We are thrilled for the opportunity to continue this great work and to explore the use of emerging communication technologies to address our nation’s most critical health challenges, ” Tremaine added.
