Harris Lands Army Tactical Radio Antenna IDIQ; Chris Young Comments


HARRISHarris Corp. (NYSE: HRS) has been awarded a five-year, $12 million contract to produce tactical radio antennas for the U.S. Army.

Harris will supply RF-3134 high-frequency full-loop antennas to the Army for mobile communication, Harris said Monday.

The company booked the order during its first quarter of fiscal year 2016.

“Harris continues to provide advanced radios and related systems to meet the real-time communications needs of our nation’s warfighters, ” said Chris Young, president of Harris communication systems.

RF-3134 operates with Harris’ Falcon HF radios.
