GSA Opens Solicitation for Potential $50B Infrastructure Services GWAC Vehicle

GSAThe General Services Administration has launched final solicitations for a potential 15-year, $50 billion governmentwide acquisition contract vehicle that covers information technology, infrastructure and telecommunication services.

GSA said Friday it will accept Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract bids through Jan. 15, 2016, and could unveil the awardees late next year.

The EIS GWAC program is a follow-on to the Networx and Regional Location Telecommunication Services procurement vehicles, GSA noted in a formal request for proposals published Friday on FedBizOpps.

The agency plans to extend use of the current sets by three years to 2020 in an effort to give agencies and vendors extra time for EIS transition.

GSA added federal agencies can start to acquire voice, data and video transport, cloud, hosting and call center services as well as cable and wiring, network and security products through the EIS contract vehicle in early 2017.
