Brian Sinkiewicz Named Textron Systems SVP, Weapons & Sensors GM; Ellen Lord Comments

Brian Sinkiewicz, formerly vice president for precision weapons at Textron‘s (NYSE: TXT) systems segment, has been promoted to senior VP and general manager of weapon and sensor systems for the segment.

Textron said Tuesday Sinkiewicz will also serve in the executive leadership team and report directly to Ellen Lord, president and CEO of Textron Systems.

“I have been impressed with his customer relationship skills, his dedication to international growth and his work in capturing new business, ” said Lord.

Sinkiewicz will be in charge of product development and customer programs for the Textron weapon and sensor systems business, which offers a portfolio of smart weapons, thermal systems and protection systems for the defense sector.

He has 15 years of experience in program and contract management, capture leadership and business development at Textron Systems.

He is an acting member of the advisory council at Bryant University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration.
