Balan Ayyar Adds President Role at Sevatec

Balan Ayyar has been named president of Sevatec in addition to his role as chief operating officer at the Fairfax, Va.-based technology services provider.

Ayyar will expand his responsibility to include oversight of the firm’s operations, growth and delivery teams, Sevatec said Thursday.

The 26-year Air Force veteran joined the company in August 2014 as COO and retired from the military in 2013 with the rank of brigadier general.

Ayyar is a former White House fellow and a member of the Council of Foreign Relations.
