Sallie Sweeney, an information security professional and former security director of General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business, has joined Apprio as chief information security officer.
Apprio said Thursday Sweeney will be in charge of the company’s corporate information security and government contract security services programs.
“Sallie has established a great reputation of being customer-focused and brings a deep understanding of security requirements to Apprio that will greatly benefit our customers, ” said Darryl Britt, president of Apprio.
Sweeney has nearly 20 years of experience in the technology industry, including her work as systems security officer for General Dynamics IT’s programs with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
She is also a Certified Information System Security Professional,  Certified Information Security Manager, Information Systems Security Management Professional and Project Management Professional.
