Tom Aikens, formerly executive vice president of operations at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), has been named deputy group president for the company’s health business.
Leidos said Thursday Aikens will report to Jonathan Scholl, health and engineering sector president, and oversee the health business’ financial, staffing and marketing operations.
“Tom has a proven track record of solid health information technology leadership, †Scholl said.
Before he joined Leidos in 2006, Aikens worked at NDC Health as EVP of provider operations.
He previously served as VP and general manager at McKesson Provider Technologies and worked there for two decades prior to NDC Health.
The Army veteran graduated cum laude from Marywood University with a bachelor’s degree in business and earned his master’s degree from Webster University.
