Orbital ATK to Provide $426M in Ammunition Components to Navy


Orbital ATKOrbital ATK (NYSE: OA) will provide FMU-139D/B fuzes and fuze accessory kits and support for qualification and testing activities to the U.S. Navy under a $425.7 million contract.

The Defense Department said Thursday the company will perform work in West Virginia and Minnesota through May 2024.

The obligated amount of $24.3 million is from Navy and U.S. Marine Corps ammunition procurement funds for fiscal 2015, DoD added.

Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
