Oracle Service Cloud Receives DoD ATO


OracleTYSONS CORNER, VA September 9, 2015 — The Defense Department has granted Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) an authority to operate certificate for Oracle Service Cloud, a software-as-a-service cloud offering under its U.S. DoD Cloud community, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The ATO follows a review by a third-party organization that was completed at security impact Level 4 using the DoD Cloud Security Model, Oracle said Sept. 1.
