Jacobs Lands $261M Aberdeen Proving Ground Test Center Support Contract


JACOBS logo_GovConWireA Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) business unit has won a five-year $260, 906, 926 contract to assist the U.S. Army in its test activities at the Aberdeen Proving Ground Test Center.

The Defense Department said Wednesday that Jacobs’ advanced technology division will perform automotive, firepower, survivability, lethality, technology and warfighter mission support work for the center through Sept. 8, 2020.

Aberdeen Proving Ground Test Center hosts work on tests and training programs, instrumentation application, facility operations and fabrication for DoD and non-DoD customers.

The Army received three bids for the contract.
