Construction Underway for Lockheed International Training Center for Pilots


lockheed martinTYSONS CORNER, VA September 10, 2015 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has taken the wraps off an international pilot training center it is building in Marietta, Georgia, near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport as it seeks to prepare the next generation of aircrews, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said it expects the center to open in 2018, offering qualification training for both pilots and instructors, plus refresher courses as well as mission training via lecture-type classes and simulator facilities.
