Boeing ABS-3A Small Platform Satellite Enters Service


SatelliteTYSONS CORNER, VA September 11, 2015 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) has fired up operations of an all-electric propulsion satellite it built for customer ABS, one month ahead of schedule, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The defense contractor said it handed over the ABS-3A, a 702SP satellite two weeks prior, which Bermuda-headquartered ABS will use to expand communications services in the Americas and EMEA region.
