UK Taps BAE Systems Falcon Training Program for British Military


Bae systems logo_ExecutiveBizTYSONS CORNER, VA August 19, 2015 — The British defense ministry has contracted BAE Systems to train military personnel on the use of Falcon communication systems for $10 million through 2020, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

BAE said the training program will be offered out of the Defence School of Communications Information Systems in the U.K. in collaboration with engineering support services company Babcock.

BAE said Falcon has been providing secure broadband communications capabilities to British Army operations since 2014.
